Our Cost Reduction Program is designed to identify and implement them saving opportunities in 12-weeks.

Week 1: Establishing the Program

During the first week, we establish the program, outline the scope and responsibilities, and get buy-in from relevant stakeholders. This ensures the foundation for the program to be executed smoothly.

Week 2-3: Analysing Your Cost Base

In this phase, our team gathers your financial data and other relevant information to conduct a cost analysis and identify you mine’s cost drivers. By mapping the cost base, we are then enabled to identify areas of opportunity where cost reduction can be achieved with minimal impact.

Week 4-5: Developing Cost Reduction Initiatives

With boots on the ground, our team moves to prioritise initiatives based on impact and feasibility. We develop a detailed plan for each initiative, including timelines, resource requirements and expected benefits considering risk assessments for each initiative.

Week 6-7: Validating and Refining Cost Reduction Initiatives

In this phase, we focus on validating and refining the initiatives conducting feasibility studies, considering stakeholders’ feedback and identifying roadblocks in the implementation plan.

Week 8-9: Implementing Cost Reduction Initiatives

Each initiative will have its implementation plan and assigned responsibilities. We will make sure the plan and deliverables are communicated across all key stakeholders and monitor the progress making adjustments as necessary.

Week 10-11: Monitoring Progress and Evaluating Results

In this phase, our team focuses on monitoring progress and evaluating the results of the cost reduction initiatives. We conduct regular reviews against the implementation plan, track the financial impact, make necessary adjustments, and report progress to all key stakeholders.

Week 12: Consolidating Results and Preparing for Future

During the final week of the program, we consolidate the financial impact of all the cost reduction initiatives and conduct a lessons-learned review to identify areas for improvement. We share with you a full report and a plan to sustain the cost savings achieved and prepare for the future.
