iXcede Field Notes: From Conversations to BCMs

Good conversations happen on mine sites every day. Teams review operational data, identify performance gaps, and discuss opportunities to improve production. But until now, most of those conversations relied on memory, disconnected spreadsheets, or informal handovers.

eXcellerate has launched Field Notes, a new feature built directly into iXcede that connects operational data to the discussions built around it in the field.

Field Notes allows operators and supervisors to note down conversations against specific operational data points, creating an ongoing thread that integrates what is discussed and how production evolves over time.

How do Field Notes affect production results?

One of the persistent challenges in mining operations is discontinuity. Supervisors rotate shifts, superintendents move sites, and new leaders inherit crews without visibility into what has already been trialled or achieved with each individual.

Operators supported through a consistent approach improve differently from those receiving isolated insights. Field Notes creates continuity across shifts, leaders, and operational discussions, allowing conversations to build over time instead of restarting every month. With Field Notes, the operational thread remains and so the BCMs follow.
