The interns have joined our rapidly expanding iXcede product development team and will be involved in projects to build advanced data analytics and reporting for mine operations globally.
The new interns Laura Varela, José Marchant, Piero Cristi, and Francisco Gutierrez are all studying engineering across various fields and have a passion for technology. Laura studies mechanical engineering, while Piero and José major in software engineering alongside our Junior Backend Developer Santino D’Aloy – all at the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC). Meanwhile, Francisco studies civil engineering at Universidad del Desarrollo, another renowned private university in Santiago.

As a result, they have been offered positions at eXcellerate in a freelance/contracting capacity, allowing them to continue their studies while gaining valuable professional development, experience and exposure by contributing to the company’s projects.
